Golden refraction, a minimal profile and unique texture defines the design of this necklace made in Czechoslovakia. The glass links are quite thin which allows the necklace to lie flush along the neckline when worn. A pebbly, molded design to the surface of the glass resembles rough cut gemstones. The back of the glass is foiled which deepens the color and enhances the sparkle. There is no wear to the foiling, no chips to the glass, and the mold is still crisp and distinct. The brass setting was silver plated originally; today it has a brassy patina that is consistent across the piece. This necklace is  fresh looking and has sparkled since the 1930's.
