A lively checkerboard pattern combines marbled green bakelite with the high sheen and ribbed surface of chrome. This piece has a chunky and full profile yet the links still wrap fluidly around your wrist with a smooth feel when worn. There are a few very small chips to the edge of one bakelite dome (which you can see in the third photo) and a soft amount of wear to the chrome's finish at the back of the bracelet and on the tongue of the clasp. With a design that marries the influence of the Industrial age and the vibrant color and retro quality of Bakelite this bracelet, 75 years later, still feels current.
